Camp Security Footage #002: The Coffee Maker Incident

Location: Camp Office

Date: July 14, 2026

Suspect: Otis Clay “Mudflap”

Violation:
Attempting to repair camp equipment using an excessive amount of duct tape.

Claimed Reason:

“It was leakin’. Now it ain’t.”

Incident Report

At approximately 3:17 AM, Camp Security cameras observed Otis Clay “Mudflap” applying multiple layers of industrial duct tape to the camp coffee maker.

When questioned, Mudflap stated he was “fixin’ the leak before folks woke up.”

Unfortunately, investigators determined the coffee maker had stopped leaking only because it could no longer be opened.

Maintenance later reported discovering:

  • One completely sealed coffee maker
  • Half a roll of duct tape permanently attached
  • Coffee trapped inside “for future use”
  • A handwritten note reading:
    “Too late.”

Camp officials have once again reminded campers that duct tape is not an approved plumbing repair.

🏕️ Evidence Collected

  • 1 roll of silver duct tape (mostly empty)
  • Coffee maker (currently unavailable for service)
